Headon Forest
Headon Forest is located in North Central Burlington bound by Dundas St. to the north, Walker’s Line to the west, Upper Middle Rd. to the south, and Guelph Line to the east. The neighborhood was established in the mid 1980s, and most of its homes were developed in the late 80s and early 90s.
Housing Market
You will find a mix of housing types in Headon Forest, including townhomes and condos, with the majority of properties being detached homes with single or double car garages on large lots. The average price of a detached home in the area is between 1M and 1.6M.
Parks
The community boasts numerous parks and trails, including the popular Ireland Park which offers multiple sports fields and baseball diamonds, a tennis court, track, playground with splash pad, and community garden. Other parks to note are Newport, Cleaver, and Pinemeadow.
Shopping
There are many convenient shopping plazas within Headon Forest; Headon Forest Shopping Centre is right on Dundas St., while Fortinos, Freshco, LCBO, and Shoppers Drug Mart can all be found right on Upper Middle Rd. Plus, Burlington Centre, Mapleview Mall, and big box retailers like Canadian Tire, Staples, Walmart, and Winners/HomeSense are all within a short drive.
Transit
The neighborhood enjoys easy access to all major highways (QEW, 403, 407), Dundas St., and GO Transit. The commute to Toronto by car is between 40 minutes and 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on traffic.
